JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — On Thursday, the Pitt-Johnstown wrestling team won their eighth straight PSAC wrestling championship.
The Mountain Cats hosted Shippensburg for senior night where they recognized six seniors.
UPJ shut out the Raiders 46-0.
Thursday night’s dual win improved UPJ’s PSAC record to seven wins and zero losses.
The Mountain Cats will compete in the regional championships in early March, and then the Division II national championships, which start March 15th.
Pitt-Johnstown’s head coach Pat Pecora was recently recognized with a lifetime award for his success in the sport.
